Calgary Carpet Juniper
A superior evergreen groundcover with a very low, spreading habit and attractive soft green foliage. Use on slopes for groundcover or erosion control, along walkways, and in borders or rock gardens. We carry burning bush, golden and other varieties of this very colorful and hardy shrub.
Butterfly bushes (Buddleia) are grown for their long panicles of colorful flowers and their ability to attract butterflies and beneficial insects. They bloom in spring and summer, but the naturally attractive shape of the shrub and evergreen foliage keeps the bush interesting, even when it is not in bloom.
Grasses add incredible beauty and texture to the landscape all year round. They look beautiful as they dance in the wind. Heights vary from 12" to over 5'. We offer several varieties with colors ranging from green to blue to red.
Golden Delicious Apple Tree
The large, golden fruit of the golden delicious apple tree ripens late, developing a fine, sweet flavor. While they are best known as fresh-eating apples, golden delicious also work well for pies, applesauce, and preserves.
Ginkgo Biloba 'Autumn Gold' Maidenhair Tree
Ginkgo biloba is a large, deciduous tree that matures to 100' tall and is considered to be a living fossil. It is the only surviving member of a group of ancient plants believed to have inhabited the earth up to 150 million years ago. It features distinctive two-lobed, somewhat leathery, fan-shaped, rich green leaves with diverging (almost parallel) veins. Leaves turn bright yellow in fall.
The dwarf Alberta spruce is a diminutive evergreen with a classic pyramidal Christmas tree shape. ... The aromatic green needles are about 3/4 inch long, and the tree has a tight, densely-packed growth habit that gives dwarf Alberta spruce trees a "fuzzy" look.
Hydrangeas are among the most widely-grown landscape shrubs, and for good reason. In the spring or summer, they bloom in shades of white, pink, purple, or blue; some have stunning fall color, as well. Use as a specimen plant, for mass planting, or along house or deck foundations.
